Counselor in Training

Stone Canyon is pleased to announce our Counselor-In-Training program, an advanced leadership program for our 15-year-old campers. The goal is to provide our oldest campers with skills that will translate to not only being a great camp counselor, but to becoming an overall impactful individual in their communities. 

As a Counselor-in-Training (CIT), your camper will be expected to:

·  Participate in advanced leadership curriculum and programming.

·  With staff’s guidance, plan and facilitate a Camper’s Choice activity.

·  Be a consistent, positive role model for our younger campers.

·  and make some incredible friends!

Although CITs are learning an abundance of new skills, they still get to participate in all camp activities and choose a club for a week.

Once your 15-year-old registers for camp, you will receive a short application for the program. This process will allow us to review the incoming CIT’s and ensure they are ready to take on this fantastic responsibility and opportunity.
